    Agave

    TEQUILA DRINK RECIPES: D-L

    Cocktail Stand Amatitan

    Daisy

    2 oz Tequila, 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 tsp Grenadine, 2 tsp club soda. Combine with ice; shake well. Strain and add ice.

    Deceiver

    1 oz Tequila and 1/2 oz Galliano. Build in rock glass with cubed ice. This one will fool you.

    Downsider

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1/2 oz Crême de Bananas, 1/2 oz Galliano, 1/2 oz light cream, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 dash Bitters, and 1 tsp Grenadine. In a shaker half filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

    Doralto

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1/2 oz lemon juice, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 dash Bitters, 4 oz tonic water, and 1 lime wedge. In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the tequila, lemon juice, sugar, and bitters. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Top with the tonic water and garnish with the lime wedge.

    Dulce de Tezón

    2 oz Tequila Tezón Reposado, 1 oz Martell Cognac, 1 oz Cointreau, 1/2 oz lime juice, 1 tbsp Agave nectar, and some large-grained sugar. Sugar on rim; garnish with lemon wedge.

    Duvall Crawl

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1 1/2 oz orange juice, 1 oz Melon Liqueur, 1 tsp Grenadine. Combine in a blender with ice until smooth and slushy. Pour into chilled champagne glass. Garnish top with lime slice and cherry.

    Durango

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1 oz grapefruit juice, 1/2 oz almond extract, mint sprigs, and spring water. Combine the tequila, juice, and almond extract with ice. Shake well. Strain into a large tumbler; add ice and fill with spring water. Garnish with mint..

    Earthquake

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1 tsp Grenadine, 2 strawberries, 1 to 2 dashes orange Bitters, and 3 oz crushed ice. Combine in a blender at high speed for fifteen seconds. Strain straight up with a lime slice and a strawberry.

    El Cosmo

    Azunia El Cosmo

    Glass: Martini
    Garnish: Lime wedge

    1 1/2 oz Azuñia Platinum Tequila
    1/2 oz Azuñia Organic Agave Nectar
    Squeeze of Fresh Lime
    Splash of Cranberry Juice

    Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 5 seconds, strain and serve straight-up in a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

    Azuñia Tequila

    El Diablo

    1 oz Tequila, 1 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz Crême De Cassis, and 1/2 cup ginger ale. Mix over ice in tall glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with lime wedge.

    El Torito

    1 oz Tequila, 1/2 oz dark Crême de Cacao. Serve in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. For an after-dinner variation, serve in a snifter glass with no ice.

    El Vampiro

    2 oz Tequila, 2 oz Sangrita, 4 oz squirt, juice of 1/2 lemon, a few drops pepper sauce, pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Build in a highball glass with some ice cubes.

    Essence de Mexico

    Herradura Essence

    Glass: Martini
    Garnish: Grilled lime wedge

    1 oz Herradura Añejo
    1/2 oz honey syrup
    1/2 oz Dark Crême de Cocoa
    Squeeze of lime

    Combine all ingredients with ice in shaker. Shake well and strain into martini glass. Garnish with grilled lime or chocolate candy.

    Fire and Ice

    1 part Tequila and 1 part Peppermint Schnapps. At first it is nice and cool and relaxes you, then comes the fire!!

    Foggy Notion

    Foggy Notion Cocktail

    Created by Tequila Connection, this drink was served as the "Welcome Cocktail" for a Tequila Pairing Dinner on 07 April 2018.

    Glass: Bucket
    Garnish: Cucumber slice and Basil Sprig

    1 1/2 oz Blanco Tequila
    1 1/2 oz orange juice
    1/4 fresh key lime or Mexican lime
    1 slice Jalapeno
    2 slices cucumber
    2 sprigs basil
    2 oz Squirt
    Tajin Spice and Kosher Salt

    Rim the glass with a mixture of Tajin spice and Kosher Salt. Add a few ice cubes to the glass.
    In a cocktail shaker, Muddle a slice of cucumber, slice of jalapeno, lime wedge and a couple basil leaves. Add tequila and orange juice along with some Ice cubes and shake till cool.
    Strain into rimmed glass over ice. Top with Squirt and garnish with a slice of cucumber and a basil sprig.


    Freddy Fudpucker

    1 oz Tequila, 1/2 oz Galliano, orange juice. Pour the tequila into a Collins glass filled with ice and fill with orange juice. Stir. Float the Galliano on top.

    Green Lizard

    1 part Tequila and 1 part Crême de Menthe. A weaker tequila drink for beginners.

    Grenada de Tezón

    Highball Glass
    Garnish: Mint sprig

    1 oz Tequila Tezón
    Fill with grapefruit juice
    Splash of Grenadine

    Pour tequila in highball glass filled with ice. Fill with grapefruit juice and top with grenadine.

    Herradura Mango Mojito

    Highball Glass
    Garnish: Fresh Mint

    1 1/2 oz Herradura Silver Tequila
    3 fresh mint sprigs
    2 tsp sugar
    1 tbsp fresh lime juice
    2 1/2 oz fresh mango juice
    Splash of club soda

    Muddle the mint leaves, sugar and lime juice in the bottom of a tall glass. Add Tequila and mango juice. Add a splash of club soda and some ice cubes. Garnish with a mint sprig.

    Garnish: Lime wedge & mint sprig

    2 oz Herradura Silver Tequila
    1 lime (quartered)
    3/4 oz simple syrup
    4-6 Mint leaves
    Club Soda

    Muddle mint leaves and lime wedges in bottom of mixing glass. Add syrup, tequila and ice. Shake and pour into pint glass. Top off with club soda.

    One part Tequila and one part Cointreau. Serve with ice in a brandy glass.

    Icebreaker

    2 oz Tezón Tequila, 2 oz grapefruit juice, 1 tbsp Grenadine, 1/2 oz Triple Sec. Mix in a blender over ice and strain into a sour glass.

    Ilana Stern Ice

    3 parts Tequila, 1 part ice tea. Just pour; give a moment of silence, and down it.

    In a shot glass, first pour the Silver Tequila, then gently (over a spoon is ideal) add the Gold Tequila.

    1 oz Tequila, 1 oz Green Chartreuse. Serve straight up in a shot glass.

    Keoki Coffee

    1 oz Tequila, 1 tsp sugar, coffee. Add Tequila and sugar to a footed mug. Fill with coffee. Stir Well..

    La Bomba

    1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1/2 oz Cointreau, 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice, 1 1/2 oz orange juice, splash of Grenadine. Shake well with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

    Long Beach Ice Tea

    Garnish: Cherry and umbrella

    1/2 oz Vodka
    1/2 oz Gin
    1/2 oz Rum
    1/2 oz Tequila (optional)
    1/2 oz Triple Sec
    1/2 oz Sweet & Sour
    1 oz Cranberry Juice
    Top with 7up

    Pour all into a Collins Glass with Ice. Garnish with a cherry and umbrella.

    Long Island Iced Tea

    Garnish: Lemon wedge

    1/2 oz Vodka
    1/2 oz Gin
    1/2 oz Rum
    1/2 oz Tequila
    1/2 oz Triple Sec
    1 oz Sweet & Sour
    Top with Coke

    Pour all into a Collins Glass with Ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
